By December of 2008, I was looking for something that would get my students writing. Thinking about how my 5th grade students enjoy socializing with each other (even when they shouldn’t), the ePals Global Community came to mind. I signed up a couple of years of go, but hadn’t done anythng special with it. So, I dusted off my account information, entered the site, and keyed in a description of my class and what kind of interaction, I wanted for my students. That’s when Cal Rains from South Korea, and his students came into our lives.
